Measles catch-up round completed

The catch-up round of vaccination against measles and rubella, held from 21 April to 30 June 2025 with the support of the United Nations Mission in Irad, is completed. 41,380 children aged from 1 to 14 years who had missed a dose were vaccinated, 94.1% of those listed. In the districts the mobile teams visited 212 villages.

The Ministry thanks the parents, the teachers, the clergy and the village councils who helped to find the children.
