Hospitals and polyclinics
State and city medical institutions of the Zone, and church and departmental clinics licensed by the Ministry. Patients are served by the polyclinic of the address in their residence record (how to register). For hospital treatment a referral of the polyclinic is needed, except in emergencies.
Polyclinics: Mon-Fri 8:00-19:00, Sat 9:00-14:00 (1 November - 31 March). Children's polyclinics: Mon-Fri 8:00-18:00, Sat 9:00-13:00. District hospitals: polyclinic department Mon-Fri 8:00-17:00; emergency reception round the clock.

Rural health posts
52 feldsher and midwife posts in the districts: see About the Ministry. Your health post's hours are posted on its door; in most villages the feldsher can be called at home.
Beyond the Qara-Chik lineThe Ministry does not run medical institutions on the tribal side of the Qara-Chik Demarcation Line. Patients from the tribal regions are received at the hospitals of the Zone in emergencies; medical crossings are arranged through the United Nations Mission in Irad. Evacuations by helicopter land at the helipad of the Regional Hospital in Talas.
