The oldest hospital of the city (as Kobozev City Hospital No. 1) and its main emergency hospital: surgery, trauma, internal medicine, neurology, intensive care. Receives most ambulance admissions of Nurzhan and Chu District.
During the battle for Kobozev in August 1992 the hospital kept operating in its basement after the upper floors were hit. A plaque at the entrance names the staff who died, among them Dr Zoya Yun.
